What is CBD?
CBD or Cannabidiol is a completely organic, naturally occurring healing oil found in the hemp plant.
There are many compounds found in cannabidiol such as GBG, CBN and CBD.
CBD has been shown to affect nearly every biological process in the human body.
How Does It Work?
CBD interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS).
The ECS is a network of neuro (nerve) transmitters found throughout the human body that regulates sleep, mood, motor control, pleasure, pain, memory, appetite and digestion to cite a few. The goal of the ECS is to maintain homeostasis, or a steady state of being, within the body. Endocannabinoids are found throughout the body in the central nervous system, GI tract, peripheral nervous system, connective tissue and immune cells.
Scientifically, CBD has been found to stop the breakdown of the enzyme Anandamide, the so called “bliss molecule” found within the ECS. By using CBD, the number of endocannabinoids in the body are naturally increased. Increased cannabinoids can improve mood and feelings of wellbeing, decrease pain and anxiety and decrease motor movements such as seizures.
CBD is non-psycho active. It does not result in feelings of euphoria or of being “stoned.”

Will I Test Positive For THC Using CBD?
Urine Drug Screens (UDS) test ONLY for THC in the screening tests. THC naturally occurs in the hemp plant but cannot exceed > 0.3% after processing. Theoretically, consuming large quantities of CBD (1,000-2,000mg/day) could trigger a positive THC result. But the confirmatory test, which follows a positive screening test, would be negative for THC.
