Am I really supposed to eat MiraClays?
Definitely! While applying it topically has wonderful, beneficial effects as well, MiraClays performs its biggest miracles inside the body as a natural detoxifier, chelator, and nutritional supplement.
What are the benefits of eating MiraClays?
Today, our foods are not only highly processed, they’re grown on soils that have been worked to depletion. And that’s assuming we’re making good food choices to begin with which — lets face it — is hard to do all the time. A majority of the food available at our local stores has been found lacking in the micro nutrient content that it had only decades ago. If it’s not in the foods, it can’t get into our bodies, and the negative effect mineral depletion has on the body is profound. Mineral supplements in tablet form can’t replace the minerals our foods once took in from the soil. Nor can these supplements detoxify as they nourish, the way MiraClays can.
Are all clays edible?
No. Most clays are not. Industrial clays, such as those used to make bricks, pottery, shoe polish, cat litter, and dynamite are toxic. Even clays within the same family of clay can range widely in their deposit composition, affecting particle size and chemistry. Although available in generous deposits around the world, “edible” nutritional clays are considered very rare.
How does MiraClays detoxify?
Subjected to millions of years of solar and geothermal heat as well as arid conditions, MiraClays' calcium montmorillonite developed a strong negative charge. This charge is attractive to positively charged elements, which includes most toxins, bacterium, pathogens and many heavy metal elements. The clay pulls these positively charged elements out of storage around the body and bonds to them in a process called agglomeration. The agglomerated clusters are then passed through the system and eliminated naturally.
What is MiraClays' average particle size?
MiraClays has been naturally micronized to particles of ten microns or less in size. A micron is one millionth of a meter; as a point of comparison, a single human hair is about 75 microns in diameter.
Why is particle size important?
The particles in MiraClays are substantially smaller than the toxins in the body that might be attracted to them. A single positively-charged germ could conceivably be drawn to hundreds of MiraClays particulates. These particulates would surround the germ and separate it from its nutrient source, causing it to die. This is why we refer to the toxins as being “absorbed into the clay.” In addition, nutrients delivered in micronized form have been shown to be more easily taken up by the body. This is why it’s believed that supplements in tablet form can’t replace the cellular-level nourishment that MiraClays can provide.
What is the shape of calcium montmorillonite and how does that affect MiraClays' performance?
This is a great question, and while it isn’t asked as frequently as the others, we’re pleased to have the opportunity to post the answer. The clay platelets in MiraClays are shaped like a sheet of paper, with a large flat surface area and very thin edges. It’s the flat surface that carries the strong negative charge. The thin edge, incidentally, holds a positive charge, allowing the clay particles to cling together while still allowing particles with stronger positive charges to pass through to the middle of a cluster of clay particles. In nature, it is the sheet shape that has the greatest surface area to weight or mass of all the shapes in existence. It is this shape that allows MiraClays' particulates to sail freely through the body's system, slip easily into cells to nourish them, and slam themselves onto positively-charged toxins, creating an unshakable bond.
What is chelation?
Chelation is a process that binds minerals to amino acids or peptides. It is the best and most comonly-used method for removing heavy metals from the body.
How much MiraClays should I take?
For the average adult, the recommended daily maintenance dosage is one heaping teaspoon. Best to be taken in two doses a day on an empty stomach. The powder may be mixed with a liquid of your choice.
